Saga University, Japan – SPACE Exchange Program

Saga University is pleased to invite applications for the SPACE Exchange Program for undergraduate and graduate students. The program lasts one semester and will begin in October 2025. The available programs include:

  1. SPACE-SAGA: Designed for undergraduate students, this program offers English-taught courses focusing on Japanese culture, language, and intercultural communication.
  2. SPACE-ECON: Suitable for undergraduate students, this program provides courses in Japanese, primarily from the Faculty of Economics.
  3. SPACE-ARITA: Conducted in English, this program allows students to explore the art of pottery production.
  4. SPACE-SE-B: Designed for undergraduate students in Science and Engineering, with courses taught in English.
  5. SPACE-SE-G: Aimed at graduate students in Science and Engineering, with courses offered in English.
  6. SPACE-AG: Suitable for undergraduate students in Agriculture, this English-taught program focuses on sustainable food production and environmental conservation.
  7. General Exchange Student: Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, allowing them to take courses across various faculties at Saga University. Most courses are taught in Japanese.
  8. Special Research Student: For graduate students conducting research under the supervision of a Saga University professor. Applicants must receive prior approval from a faculty advisor. The nomination deadline is May 1, 2025.

  • Application for Certificate of Eligibility (CoE)

  • Financial Support Statement
  • Copy of Passport
  • Portfolio (for Art and Design majors)
