Student Exchange Program at Hirosaki University, Japan for the Fall Semester 2026

Hirosaki University, Japan, is now accepting applications for the Exchange Student Program for the Academic Year 2026. This program offers students the opportunity to study in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, from October 2026 to February 2027.

Selected students will receive a Tuition Fee Waiver at Hirosaki University. However, all other expenses will be the responsibility of the students.

Applicants must have basic proficiency in Japanese or English and must not be in the final year of their academic program.

Interested students are requested to submit the following application documents:

1. Application Form (Hirosaki University’s designated form)
2. Study Plan / Research Plan
3. Certificate of Enrollment (in English)
4. Academic Transcripts (in English)
5. Recommendation Letter (from academic advisor or head of department)
6. Copy of Passport
7. Copy of Language Proficiency Certificate (e.g., JLPT, TOEFL, IELTS, if available)
8. Certificate of Health (using the designated form)
9. Photographs (for application and immigration documents)
10. Checklist
11. Confirmation
12. Self Declaration of Health

The nomination must be submitted to Hirosaki University through the online system by March 31, 2026.
All required application documents must be submitted online by April 18, 2026.
