Exchange Program, Ibaraki University, Fall 2026

Ibaraki University (IU), Japan, would like to announce the opening of applications for undergraduate and graduate students (excluding final-year students) to participate in the student exchange program. There are two programs available as follows:

1. Ibaraki Japanese Language and Culture Program
   This program is designed for students who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in Japanese language and culture. Courses related to Japan are conducted in English. Students with intermediate to advanced Japanese language proficiency may enroll in additional Japanese language courses.
2. General Exchange Program
   This program is conducted primarily in Japanese. Applicants must have a Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) score of at least N2.

Students who are selected to participate in the program will receive a tuition fee waiver from IU. However, participants are responsible for all other related expenses, such as travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and personal expenses.
