1. Use at least 12–16 characters in length.
2. Include a variety of character types: uppercase letters (A–Z), lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), and special symbols (!@#$%^&*).
3. Avoid using personal information such as your name, date of birth, phone number, or national ID number.
4. Avoid dictionary words — hackers can easily guess them through a “dictionary attack.”
5. Do not reuse the same password across multiple websites. If one site is compromised, your accounts on other sites may also be at risk.
6. Change your password regularly every 3–6 months, or immediately if you suspect it has been exposed.
