Faculty of Economics Hosts OPEN HOUSE 2026: Muangthai DNA Batch 4 to Strengthen Career Opportunities through Cooperative Education

On Wednesday, 5 August 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organised OPEN HOUSE 2026: Muangthai DNA Batch 4 in collaboration with Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited as part of its Cooperative Education Programme. The event was held at the Rit Sirimat Lifelong Learning Centre.

The programme aimed to provide cooperative education students and alumni with valuable insights into organisational culture, career pathways, and professional opportunities in the life insurance, financial services, and risk management sectors through knowledge sharing by experienced professionals from Muang Thai Life Assurance.

Participants gained first-hand perspectives on workplace expectations, career development, and the skills required to succeed in the industry, enabling them to better prepare for future employment and professional growth.

The event also reinforced collaboration between the Faculty and industry partners in developing students' employability through cooperative education while creating opportunities for students and alumni to apply for internships and employment with Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited.

Through initiatives such as this, the Faculty of Economics continues to strengthen university–industry partnerships and equip students with practical experience, professional competencies, and enhanced career opportunities in an increasingly competitive labour market.
