Faculty of Economics Organises ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Knowledge-Sharing Programme to Advance Organisational Excellence

On 14 October 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organised a knowledge-sharing programme on ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems, as part of its action plan for advancing organisational excellence in line with the Thailand Quality Award (TQA) framework.

The programme forms part of the Faculty's efforts to strengthen its quality management system and align organisational processes with internationally recognised standards. It also supports the Faculty's implementation of the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) and its broader commitment to continuous organisational improvement.

The Faculty received valuable support from staff of the Registration Office, Chiang Mai University, a unit certified under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Drawing on their experience, the guest speakers shared practical approaches, implementation processes, and lessons learned from applying the quality management system within their organisation.

The programme provided Faculty executives and staff with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of the principles and practical application of ISO 9001:2015, while learning from established practices that could be adapted to the Faculty's organisational context.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Economics continues to enhance its quality management capabilities and strengthen its organisational processes in support of EdPEx and TQA, contributing to greater operational effectiveness and sustainable organisational excellence.
