Faculty of Economics, CMU, Holds AI Knowledge-Sharing Workshop to Promote Transparent and Accountable Work Practices in Line with ITA Principles

On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, through its Knowledge Management (KM) Group, organised a hands-on learning workshop entitled “Applying Claude Cowork to Teaching Preparation” at ECB 3308.

The workshop was led by Patcha Siwapornpitak, Ph.D., who shared practical insights into the application of Claude for Work to support teaching preparation. The session explored ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) can assist academic staff in lesson planning, course content development, learning material preparation, and enhancing teaching efficiency through AI-powered tools.

The workshop formed part of the Faculty's ongoing Knowledge Management (KM) initiative, which aims to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous professional development among staff. It also reflects the Faculty's commitment to embracing digital technologies to enhance teaching quality and educational innovation.

This activity also contributes to the Faculty's broader efforts to advance Knowledge Management and organisational development towards becoming a Digital Organization. It is designed to encourage staff to leverage digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and educational management. Furthermore, the initiative supports the implementation of the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) by strengthening digital competencies, promoting the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), encouraging transparent and accountable work practices, and fostering an organisational culture grounded in integrity, transparency, good governance, and continuous improvement.
