The tradition aims to foster strong relationships among new students, current students, and alumni while helping incoming students adjust to their new environment with confidence and reassurance.

The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with warmth, excitement, and memorable moments, beginning with the gathering at Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok and continuing through the heartfelt welcome upon arrival at Chiang Mai University. Faculty administrators, staff, and students joined in greeting the newcomers, offering words of encouragement and congratulations as they prepared to begin a new chapter of their academic journey.
