On 13 February 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., staff members of the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, participated in the “Ethics Promotion and Conflict of Interest Prevention Campaign for Fiscal Year 2026” organized by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). The event was broadcast live via the YouTube channel “GoodGovernance NACC.”
Participation in this campaign formed part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to promote organizational integrity and transparency in alignment with the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) 2026 framework. The initiative aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and awareness of ethical conduct, transparency, and good governance among public officials and personnel.
The program provided valuable insights into the prevention of misconduct related to conflicts of interest, the recognition and management of overlapping personal and public interests, and ethical guidelines for public-sector employees. Participants gained practical knowledge that can be applied to their daily work, contributing to the development of an organizational culture that is transparent, accountable, and free from corruption.
The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, places strong emphasis on strengthening good governance, promoting ethics and integrity, and preventing corruption at all levels of the organization. Through continuous capacity-building activities and active participation in initiatives that support the ITA framework, the Faculty remains committed to enhancing transparency and accountability in its operations.
Under the theme “Recognizing Conflicts of Interest, Building a Transparent Organization Together,” the Faculty continues to foster ethical awareness and reinforce a culture of integrity as a foundation for sustainable organizational development.
