On 3 December 2025 at 1:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized a lecture entitled “Badge Up for Econian Excellence: Advancing Excellence through Learning Credentials” at Room ECB3202, Chuchart Petch-ampai Center of Excellence in Economics Building. The event was attended by academic staff members of the Faculty.
The lecture was organized to communicate and enhance understanding of the process for obtaining CMUPSF Badges, which serve as formal recognition of professional learning and competency development. The program also aimed to encourage academic staff to recognize the importance of continuously developing their competencies in accordance with the Chiang Mai University Professional Standards Framework (CMU PSF).
In addition, the session provided guidance for faculty members preparing to apply for learning credential recognition in upcoming assessment rounds. Participants were also introduced to the process of developing project proposals to seek funding support from the Teaching and Learning Innovation Center (TLIC), which offers opportunities for academic staff to further enhance their professional capabilities.
Through this initiative, the Faculty sought to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, enabling academic staff to leverage learning credentials as evidence of competency development, support career advancement, and strengthen teaching excellence in alignment with the University’s professional standards.
