Faculty of Economics Participates in CMU Sport Day 2026

The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, participated in Chiang Mai University Staff Sports Day 2026 (CMU Sport Day 2026), an annual event organized to promote physical fitness, well-being, and healthy lifestyles among university personnel. The event also aimed to strengthen relationships and foster unity among staff members and various units across the University, while supporting Chiang Mai University’s vision of becoming a Healthy University.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Prasert Rerkriangkrai, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, representing the President of the University. The event was officially introduced by Mr. Chatphol Kulpothisuwan, Director of the University Office, and took place at the Chiang Mai University 60 Years Stadium on Saturday, 7 February 2026.

This year, the Faculty of Economics demonstrated both athletic excellence and team spirit, earning recognition in several competition categories:

The award reflected the Faculty’s creativity, unity, and strong collaboration among its personnel in presenting an impressive and well-coordinated parade performance.

Beyond athletic competition, CMU Sport Day 2026 provided an important opportunity for staff members from across the University to engage in healthy activities, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and foster a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie.
