On Tuesday, 3 February 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Tatcha Sudtasan, Associate Dean, welcomed a study visit delegation from the CMU Language Institute. The visit was organized to observe the Faculty’s Video Wall system and advanced conference room technologies at the Lifelong Learning Hall, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University.
The visit aimed to provide participants with insights into the design, operation, maintenance, and management of integrated audio-visual and lighting systems. The knowledge gained from the visit will support the Language Institute’s future planning and decision-making regarding the procurement and installation of technology systems that align with its operational needs and institutional objectives.
As part of the program, Mr. Thanawat Kitijit, Educational Technology Administrator, delivered a presentation on “Audio, Visual, and Lighting Systems”, sharing practical knowledge and operational experiences related to conference technology management. Participants also attended a hands-on workshop and live demonstration of the audio, visual, and lighting systems at the Lifelong Learning Hall, conducted by the Digital Technology and Learning Media Division.
In addition, the delegation visited the Rit Sirimat Lifelong Learning Hall located within the Chuchart Petch-ampai Center of Excellence in Economics Building, where they observed another integrated conference technology system managed by the Digital Technology and Learning Media Division.
The visit concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of ideas, providing an opportunity for both institutions to share experiences and discuss best practices in conference technology management. The activity helped strengthen interdepartmental collaboration while promoting the effective use of educational technology to support learning, communication, and organizational development.
