Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship Awarding Ceremony

On Monday, 20 January 2026, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Associate Dean, together with Faculty representatives, participated in the Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship Awarding Ceremony held at the Phraya Sri Wisarawaja Room, 1st Floor, Chiang Mai University Office.

The ceremony was organized to award scholarships to students who demonstrate strong academic performance, good conduct, and financial need. The scholarships were generously supported by the Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation, which is committed to expanding educational opportunities and fostering the potential of university students through continued support for higher education.

The Faculty of Economics students who received the scholarships were:

• Ms. Sirinya Phadpui
• Ms. Phakkirana Kanthathong
• Mr. Phattharawut Saengor

On this occasion, Ms. Phakkirana Kanthathong, one of the scholarship recipients, delivered a speech on behalf of all awardees to express gratitude to the Foundation and the University’s administrators. In her remarks, she conveyed sincere appreciation for the opportunity provided and reaffirmed her commitment to using the scholarship support to further her education and contribute positively to society in the future.
