Warmly welcomed Professor Guanming Shi from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA.

On Tuesday, 17 December 2025, at 1:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean, together with the faculty’s executive team and staff, warmly welcomed Professor Guanming Shi, a visiting scholar from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, United States of America. The visit was held at Meeting Room ECB2602

The occasion marked an academic discussion aimed at exploring avenues for collaboration between the two institutions, with a particular focus on the development of a joint academic program in the 3+1+1 format.

The discussion emphasized the exchange of views on curriculum structure, teaching and learning approaches, credit transfer mechanisms, and strategies to support students in gaining tangible international learning experiences.

This meeting represents another significant step forward for the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, in expanding its global academic network and strengthening student capacity to compete and thrive on the international stage in the future.
