On Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 2:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean of the Faculty, together with administrators and staff members, participated in a consultation meeting with the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce regarding the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The meeting was held at the Dean’s Meeting Room.
The discussion focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration and identifying potential areas for joint initiatives that would benefit both organizations in the future. Participants exchanged ideas on how academic expertise and business-sector experience could be integrated to support economic development, knowledge creation, and community engagement within Chiang Mai Province and beyond.
This meeting reflects the Faculty of Economics’ commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector and key stakeholders across the region. Through collaborative efforts, the Faculty seeks to enhance academic activities, promote research and innovation, contribute to local and regional economic development, and create meaningful learning opportunities that respond to the needs of society and the community.
The proposed collaboration also represents an important step toward building a sustainable network between academia and industry, fostering mutual growth and supporting the development of human capital and economic competitiveness in the region.
