Orientation for Exchange Students 2025

On Friday, 14 November 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Associate Dean, organized the Orientation for Exchange Students 2025 to provide essential information and support for incoming exchange students from partner universities around the world.

The orientation welcomed exchange students from:

  • University of Göttingen, Germany
  • Kagawa University, Japan
  • Showa Women’s University, Japan
  • National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan

The program was held at Room ECB2602, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, and was designed to help students become familiar with academic life, campus facilities, university services, and living in Chiang Mai. The orientation also aimed to create a welcoming and supportive environment, enabling students to begin their academic journey in Thailand with confidence and enthusiasm.

Throughout the session, participants received important information regarding academic regulations, student support services, campus resources, and cultural adaptation. The activity also provided opportunities for students to interact with faculty members and staff, fostering a sense of community and encouraging meaningful cross-cultural exchange.

The Faculty of Economics remains committed to strengthening international academic partnerships and providing enriching educational experiences for students from around the world. Through exchange programs and international collaboration, the Faculty continues to promote global learning, intercultural understanding, and academic excellence.
