On Friday, 17 October 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pithoon Thanabodeekij, Associate Dean, participated in the merit-making ceremony for the Chiang Mai University Staff Housing Welfare Building.
The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Pongrak Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, and was honored by the presence of Phra Thepsinghaworachan, D.Phil., Abbot of Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan and Vice Ecclesiastical Governor of Chiang Mai Province, who served as the presiding monk and chanted Buddhist blessings to bring prosperity, well-being, and auspiciousness to university personnel and residents of the housing complex.
The event was attended by university executives, faculty members, staff, and residents, who gathered to participate in the ceremony and receive blessings. The atmosphere was warm and respectful, filled with faith, goodwill, and a shared sense of community.
