Ceremony to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great

On Monday, October 13, 2025, at 8:30 AM, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Deputy Dean, participated in a wreath-laying and royal tribute ceremony on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (“King Rama IX Day”) 2025, to honor His Majesty’s benevolence.

The wreath-laying ceremony was held at the University Office Building, with the participation of Chiang Mai University executives, faculty members, students, and staff. The event served as a tribute and a moment of remembrance for the royal benevolence of King Rama IX.

This event also aimed to foster awareness and pride in Thailand’s history, as well as provide students with an opportunity to learn about the values of sacrifice and dedication to the people demonstrated by His Majesty.
