Organizes Orientation Program for Cooperative Education Students to Prepare for Real-World Work Experience

On October 1 and 8, 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized the Orientation and Preparation Program for Cooperative Education Students for the second semester of the 2025 academic year. The event took place at the Happy Lifelong Learning Conference Room, Faculty of Economics, with the objective of equipping students with both academic knowledge and mental readiness before entering real-world workplaces.

As part of the program, a training session titled “Writing for Communication in Formal Contexts” was conducted by Acting Sub Lt. Matthiew Adisaitreekapap, Head of Academic Services and Student Development, Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University. The session provided practical guidance on effective writing for organizational communication in both formal and semi-formal contexts, enhancing students’ professional language and communication skills.

Another training session, “Co-op Life Balance,” was delivered by Ms. Suttinee Chatyalak, Director of the Student Development Division, Chiang Mai University. The session emphasized the importance of mental health and self-care in real workplace environments and fostered understanding of how to maintain a balance between personal life and work responsibilities.

The program aimed to prepare economics students for cooperative education by strengthening both their academic competencies and life skills, enabling them to adapt to organizational cultures and apply their knowledge effectively during their cooperative education experiences.
