Workshop on “Transforming Processes: From Efficiency to Excellence”

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized a workshop titled “Transforming Processes: From Efficiency to Excellence.” The event was honored to feature Assoc.Prof.Dr. Anan Mungwattana, Thailand Quality Award (TQA) Assessor, Member of the TQA Technical Subcommittee, and Faculty Member at the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University, as the keynote speaker.

The workshop was held at Room ECB3202, Center for Excellence in Economics : CHUCHAT PETAUMPAI Building, and was also accessible via Zoom Meeting. Faculty executives and staff members participated actively to learn about strategies for developing and improving work processes to achieve maximum efficiency and advance toward “organizational excellence” in line with the Thailand Quality Award framework.

During the session, the speaker shared valuable insights and real-world experiences from assessing high-performing organizations in both the public and private sectors. He also discussed practical approaches to applying quality management tools to foster an organizational culture that emphasizes effectiveness, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

This workshop represents another key initiative of the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, aimed at enhancing staff capabilities and driving the organization toward excellence in all dimensions.
