Workshop titled “Smart Data, Smart Decision: Preparing Data with Power Query”
On 10-11 September 2025, from 09:00 to 16:00, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized a workshop titled “Smart Data, Smart Decision: Preparing Data with Power Query” at the Quantitative Analysis Center. The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of administrative and support staff in using Power Query within Power BI.
The training focused on systematic data management and preparation, developing the ability to link, transform, and format data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting. It also aimed to reduce redundancy and promote the effective use of data for planning and decision-making within the organization.
The workshop was honored to have Mr. Suthee Ploykoksung, an expert trainer in Adobe and Microsoft Office software from Bangkok Advanced Learning (BAL) under the IT Training Center of Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited, as the instructor, sharing his expertise and practical experience with the participants.
This workshop served as a key platform to elevate data management skills, enhance work efficiency, and support strategic decision-making for the staff of the Faculty of Economics in a sustainable manner.
