Bridge the Gap: Communicating Across Cultures and Generations
On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized an activity titled “Bridge the Gap: Communicating Across Cultures and Generations” under the Pre-Cooperative Education Preparation Program, Semester 2/2025. The session was held at Room ECB3203
The activity was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Pensute, Associate Dean, Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, who served as the guest speaker. He shared valuable knowledge and techniques for effective workplace communication across differences in age and experience, including appropriate language use, choice of communication channels, and understanding diverse perspectives.
The session also equipped students with strategies for handling challenging situations, such as working under pressure, solving problems on the spot, and managing workplace conflicts constructively. These insights aimed to strengthen essential workplace skills and prepare students to confidently embark on their cooperative education experiences.
