Econ CMU, Organizes Field Study on Microeconomics and Marketing Economics

On Saturday, 30 August 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, together with students from the Master of Economics (Special Program – Weekend Class), participated in a field study for the courses Microeconomics and Marketing Economics at Beeneat Co., Ltd., San Phi Suea Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ potential as desirable graduates by providing opportunities for experiential learning beyond the classroom. This enabled students to apply academic knowledge more effectively to their studies, daily lives, and future careers.

In addition, students gained valuable insights into the operations of a startup enterprise, which serves as a model of innovation and development in the modern business sector. The activity also strengthened ties between the Faculty of Economics and the company, paving the way for future academic–industry collaboration.
