Faculty of Economics, CMU: A Role Model in Building a Sustainable Risk Culture

The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean, presented the faculty’s risk management practices at the CMU Risk Showcase: Sharing Best Practices, Driving Risk Culture, under the project Risk Culture & Learn Together, held on August 28–29, 2025 at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel.

Being selected to present highlights the Faculty of Economics’ strong commitment to cultivating a resilient Risk Culture and serving as a role model within the university. The faculty has developed risk management approaches that not only mitigate uncertainties but also enhance the readiness of staff and students to effectively face future challenges.

Driving a culture of risk is an investment in sustainability. 
The Faculty of Economics remains steadfast in its mission to be a leader in academia—creating not only knowledge in economics but also fostering transparent, flexible, and adaptive organizational management systems prepared for change.
