During 18–20 August 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean, together with administrators, faculty members, and staff, conducted a study visit on organizational management at the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen Province.

The objective of the visit was to learn from the successful management practices of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, recognized as the first engineering faculty in Thailand and recipient of the Thailand Quality Class Plus: Operation (TQC+ Operation) Award 2024—an honor reflecting outstanding achievement in operational excellence.

In addition, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, engaged in academic discussions and knowledge exchange with the Faculty of Economics, Khon Kaen University—an institution of international distinction, ranked 3rd in Thailand in the field of Business and Economics by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024–2025.

The visit also emphasized ethical governance by communicating Chiang Mai University’s No Gift Policy, which promotes transparency, prevents corruption, and reinforces the Code of Ethics for administrators and staff. Faculty personnel were reminded of the prohibition on accepting gifts, souvenirs, or other benefits, thereby fostering a shared understanding of ethical practices and effectively supporting the Faculty’s strategic objectives.

This activity not only focused on academic exchange and strengthening collaborative networks but also provided an important opportunity for the Faculty of Economics’ personnel to broaden their perspectives, gain knowledge, find inspiration, and enhance their competencies. The insights gained from this study visit are expected to be applied in advancing organizational management and driving the Faculty toward sustainable excellence in the future.
