ECON CMU Joins the Opening Ceremony of the Blood Donation Activity in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother

On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Associate Dean, participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Blood Donation Activity in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on August 12, 2025. The event took place at the 1st Floor Hall, CMU Sports and Health Center.

The activity was organized through the collaboration between Chiang Mai University and its network partners to express loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence. It also aimed to foster a spirit of altruism and social responsibility through blood donation. Faculty members, staff, students, and members of the public actively took part in this meaningful cause.

The Faculty of Economics’ involvement in this event reflects its firm commitment to volunteerism and making a positive contribution to society, in alignment with the University’s mission.
