Career Insights: Understanding People and Work — Confidently Entering the Professional World.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized an event titled “Career Insights: Understanding People and Work — Confidently Entering the Professional World.” The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guest speakers: Mr. Peerapong Thongkamkaew, Chief Operating Officer, and Ms. Kantinan Leechareonpassakul, Recruitment Supervisor, from V Beyond Development Public Company Limited. The session was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pithoon Thanabordeekij, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Economics, and held at the Happy Lifelong Learning Room.

The event aimed to equip students with knowledge and insights into work practices in companies participating in the Cooperative Education Program. It also sought to raise awareness of the essential qualities demanded by the labor market, while offering students the opportunity to learn more about organizations, job roles, and qualifications employers look for in internship candidates.

In addition, the activity aimed to foster collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and the business sector, supporting the tangible development of students’ potential through the Cooperative Education Program—a crucial step in preparing them for their future careers with confidence.

The event atmosphere was marked by enthusiastic student participation, featuring interactive discussions and close engagement with the guest speakers. This reflects the Faculty of Economics’ strong commitment to developing students to be well-prepared and confident as they step into the professional world.
