On 15 June 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organised two key activities for first-year students: a “Mathematics Refresher Course” and a “Special Talk: Inspiring the Future.”
These sessions were held at the “Lifelong Learning for Well-being” meeting room, Building 1, and the “Rit Sirimat Lifelong Learning Room” in the Chuchart Petampai Centre of Excellence in Economics. The primary objective was to support students' academic preparation and inspire them as they embark on their university journey in each respective programme.
Morning Session: Mathematics Refresher Course
This session enabled students to revisit core mathematical concepts and gain confidence in applying them to their future studies in economics at the university level.
Afternoon Session: Special Talk — “How to Maximise Your Learning in Economics”
The afternoon featured two parallel sessions tailored to each programme:
For Regular and Double Degree Programme students:
For International Programme students:
These activities reflect the Faculty’s strong commitment to nurturing new students both academically and personally—equipping them with a positive mindset, practical tools, and clear goals as they begin their studies at CMU with confidence.
