CMU-QA Curriculum (2025 Edition): Internal Quality Assurance Training at Programme Level
On Thursday, 12 June 2025, from 09.00 to 12.00 hrs, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organised an academic training session on “Criteria and Guidelines for Internal Quality Assurance at the Programme Level: CMU-QA Curriculum, 2025 Edition”. The session aimed to enhance knowledge, promote understanding, and prepare programme chairs and academic services staff for the implementation of the new quality assurance framework introduced by Chiang Mai University. The training was held in Room ECB3308, Chuchart Petcharamphai Building (Building 3), Excellence in Economics Centre.
The Faculty had the honour of welcoming Assistant Professor Dr. Prompong Sugunnasil, Deputy Director for Academic Standards Promotion and Quality Assurance, together with staff from the same division at Chiang Mai University. They served as speakers, delivering insightful lectures and engaging in discussions on the key principles of the CMU-QA Curriculum (2025 Edition). This new framework focuses on systematic and effective programme development to meet the evolving needs of modern education.
This activity is part of the Faculty of Economics’ commitment to raising academic standards and supporting sustainable educational quality. It emphasises the importance of shared understanding among all personnel, enabling the delivery of high-quality programmes aligned with the long-term mission of Chiang Mai University.
