Faculty of Social Sciences, CMU Visits ECON CMIU to Exchange Knowledge on Social Return on Investment (SROI)

On Wednesday, 11 June 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean of the Faculty, along with the management team, academic staff, and personnel, warmly welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Wasan Panyagaew, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and a delegation from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University. The visit was part of a study tour aimed at exchanging knowledge and learning about processes and practices related to Social Return on Investment (SROI). The event took place in Meeting Room ECB2602, 6th Floor, Lecture and Multi-purpose Building.

The objective of this activity was to enhance knowledge and experience in evaluating the social return on various projects. It also served as a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing practical and sustainable development approaches between the two faculties.

This exchange not only enriched academic knowledge but also strengthened collaboration to support the progressive development of the fields of social sciences and economics in the future.

The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, extends its sincere appreciation to the Faculty of Social Sciences for their interest and participation in this event and looks forward to further close collaboration in the near future.
