CMU Faculty of Economics Joins “Train Welcoming Tradition 2025” to Greet New Students and Inspire Their Journey

On June 8–9, 2025, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assoc. Prof. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty, along with the executive team, participated in the “Train Welcoming Tradition 2025” event. This long-standing tradition aims to foster meaningful connections between new students, current students, and alumni, while also facilitating their journey to Chiang Mai University—marking the beginning of a new chapter in their academic and personal lives.

The activity took place at Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok and continued at Sala Dhamma and Lan Sak area on the university campus in Chiang Mai. It offered new students a valuable opportunity to prepare themselves for independent living, to embrace learning and experience, and to grow into well-rounded individuals—ready to live, lead, and work with confidence and a strong sense of purpose.
