Assistant Professor Dr. Rossarin Osathanunkul, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University (CMU), led the faculty’s executive team in participating in the “Chiang Mai University Executive Seminar 2025,” held from May 24–25, 2025, at The Riverie by Katathani Hotel, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.
The seminar aimed to foster a shared understanding of the university’s direction and policies in driving the 5-dimensional Action Plan (AP), while also providing a platform for knowledge exchange, feedback, and strategic collaboration. This initiative is intended to cascade from the university level to faculties, departments, and affiliated units, ensuring alignment and effective implementation across all levels.
The seminar was officially opened by Professor Emeritus Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chiang Mai University Council, with the opening report delivered by Professor Dr.Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University. Over 500 university leaders attended the event, including members of the University Council, the President, Vice Presidents, Assistant Presidents, Deans, Heads and Deputy Heads of departments and divisions, secretaries, and directors from university offices and affiliated centers.
This annual seminar plays a vital role in reinforcing shared vision, encouraging collaboration, and developing systematic approaches that align with the university’s goals—ultimately paving the way for CMU’s continued advancement and sustainable development.
