Attend the press conference on the Northern Region’s economic and financial situation for the first quarter of 2025.

On Tuesday, 6 May 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Dean Dr. Saowaluk Duangin, together with faculty members and students, attended a press conference on the Northern Region’s economic and financial situation for the first quarter of 2025. The event took place at Khelang Nakhon Room, 1st Floor, Bank of Thailand Northern Region Office Building.

The press conference was organised by the Bank of Thailand, Northern Region Office, with Ms. Pornwipha Tangcharoenmunkong, Senior Director, delivering an overview of the economic and financial conditions in the northern region, along with an analysis of trends and key factors influencing the recent economic situation.

Participation in this event provided students with the opportunity to learn from real data, engage in discussions, and gain a clearer understanding of the regional economic landscape — all of which are highly beneficial for their studies in applied economics.
