The Faculty of Economics, Commended by CMU for Achieving the Third-Highest Increase in Student Voter Turnout

Chiang Mai University recently expressed its appreciation to the Faculty of Economics for its significant achievement in increasing student voter turnout during the 2025 Chiang Mai University Student Organization elections. The Faculty ranked third in terms of growth in voter participation, with a turnout rate of 6.72%.

The Student Organization election is an important process reflecting students’ democratic engagement. This year, the Faculty of Economics demonstrated a notable rise in student participation, a positive trend toward fostering a democratic spirit within the university community.

The University extended its sincere thanks to the Faculty of Economics for its efforts in encouraging students to recognize the importance of their civic rights and duties—key factors in building a strong and progressive society for the future.
