TES 2025 Data Analysis Workshop Series

The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, recently organized the TES 2025 Data Analysis Workshop Series to strengthen advanced and up-to-date data analytics skills among faculty members, as well as master's and doctoral students. The series featured four workshops held on January 6, 7, and 11, and February 19 and 26, 2025.

The training sessions were honored by the participation of distinguished experts, including Assoc. Prof. Yong Yoon, Asst. Prof. Sanpawat Kantabutra, and Asst. Prof. Tiraphap Fakthong, who shared their extensive knowledge and practical insights through lectures and hands-on sessions. These workshops aimed to equip participants with the skills needed to apply advanced data analysis techniques effectively in research and practice.

The workshop schedule included:

  • January 6, 2025: Workshop 1 – Web Scraping with Python by Assoc. Prof. Yong Yoon
  • January 7, 2025: Workshop 2 – Text Analysis with Python by Assoc. Prof. Yong Yoon
  • January 11, 2025: Workshop 3 – Satellite Data Analysis by Asst. Prof. Tiraphap Fakthong
  • February 19 and 26, 2025: Workshop 4 – Quantum Annealing by Asst. Prof. Sanpawat Kantabutra

The workshops were filled with energy and enthusiasm, with participants actively engaging in discussions and knowledge exchanges, highlighting the critical importance of data analytics skills in the digital age.

The TES 2025 Data Analysis Workshop Series marks another significant milestone for the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, in its commitment to developing the capabilities and readiness of its personnel and students to meet the challenges of a data-driven world.
