Academic Collaboration Discussion Between Faculty of Economics, CMU, and Kyoto University ASEAN Center

On January 23, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Pitoon Thanabodeekij, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Economics, together with Associate Professor Dr. Nisit Panthamit, Director of ASEAN Studies, and Assistant Professor Dr. Tatcha Suttasunt, Assistant Dean, held a meeting to discuss academic collaboration with Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director of Kyoto University ASEAN Center. The discussion was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Niamsub, Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University, who extended a warm welcome at the Office of the University.

This meeting was part of Prof. Eiji Nawata's visit to attend the Presidential Forum and CMU 60th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony, organized to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Chiang Mai University.

The discussion focused on fostering academic collaboration, advancing research initiatives, and strengthening ties between academic institutions in the ASEAN region and Japan, aiming to promote sustainable development and expand opportunities for international education.
