The Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, hosted the 18th International Conference of the Thailand Econometric Society (TES2025) under the theme “Data Science for Econometrics and Related Topics.” The event took place from January 8–10 at the Wellness Lifelong Education Hall, Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, and was inaugurated by Assistant Professor Pitipong Yodmongkol, Ph.D., Vice President of Chiang Mai University.
The conference aimed to provide a platform for the presentation of academic and research work, dissemination of knowledge, and introduction of new innovations in econometrics, both in theoretical and applied aspects. It also sought to foster academic and research collaborations, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote the exchange of experiences among academics, researchers, econometricians, economists, and scholars from various disciplines at an international level. Furthermore, the event served as a means of academic outreach to address current economic challenges and contributed significantly to the development of new knowledge for economic, social, and educational advancement.
Participants included experts in econometrics, economists, faculty members, students, academics, researchers, and interested individuals from educational institutions, research organizations, and various entities worldwide.
