Almsgiving on the Occasion of a Buddhist Holy Day

On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, organized an almsgiving activity in observance of a Buddhist holy day. This initiative aimed to promote and preserve the noble traditions of Buddhism. The activity was part of the Econ Happy Soul Project, which focuses on fostering spiritual and mental balance among faculty members and staff.

The almsgiving ceremony took place at the lobby on the G floor of Building 1, with numerous faculty members, staff, and personnel participating. The atmosphere was warm and filled with a sense of faith and devotion.

This event reflects the Faculty of Economics’ commitment to enhancing both the mental well-being and social harmony of its staff while continuing to uphold the cherished cultural and religious traditions of Buddhism.
