Special Lecture and Workshop on “Financial Planning Basics”

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 09:00 to 12:30, the Faculty of Economics at Chiang Mai University hosted a special lecture and workshop titled “Financial Planning Basics” in Room ECB3203. The session was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pidthoon Thanabodeekit, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, who served as the keynote speaker. The event aimed to provide international students participating in the Startup project, as well as other interested international students, with an understanding of financial planning, evaluation, and the development of financial strategies essential for business creation. This contributed to the enhancement of entrepreneurial skills through informative lectures and practical workshops.

The objectives of the event were to ensure participants gain a clear understanding of fundamental financial principles for business operations, set achievable financial goals, develop effective financial plans, and grasp sound financial decision-making processes. These efforts are intended to foster efficient and impactful financial decisions, supporting the long-term success of their business ventures.
