การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยพื้นฐานด้านการเข้าถึงทางการเงินและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการเข้าถึงทางการเงินและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศพัฒนาแล้วและประเทศกำลังพัฒนา จำนวน 27 ประเทศ ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2005 ถึงปี ค.ศ. 2015 ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประกอบด้วย ข้อมูลผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมภายในประเทศต่อประชากร ดัชนีการเข้าถึงทางการเงิน และปริมาณการสะสมทุนเบื้องต้นภายในประเทศ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลประกอบด้วย การทดสอบพาแนลยูนิทรูท และการประมาณความสัมพันธ์ของข้อมูลเชิงดุลยภาพระยะยาวของตัวแปรผ่านพาแนลโคอินทิเกรชัน ผลการศึกษาด้านปัจจัยพื้นฐานของการเข้าถึงทางการเงินพบว่า การเพิ่มขึ้นของระดับการเข้าถึงทางการเงินในกลุ่มประเทศกำลังพัฒนาจะส่งผลกระทบต่อการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจมากกว่ากลุ่มประเทศพัฒนาแล้ว อันเนื่องมาจากช่องว่างของการเข้าถึงทางการเงินของกลุ่มประเทศกำลังพัฒนายังคงมีอยู่สูง นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่าปัจจัยด้านการเข้าถึงทางการเงินและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงดุลยภาพระยะยาวในทิศทางเดียวกัน ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าการเพิ่มขึ้นของการเข้าถึงทางการเงินจะส่งผลทำให้ระบบเศรษฐกิจเจริญเติบโตเพิ่มขึ้น

Abstract:

This study aims to investigate the basic factors of the financial inclusion, and the relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth, in 27 developed and developing countries from 2005 to 2015. The data used in this study includes gross domestic product per capita (GDP), index of financial inclusion and Gross Capital Formation. Data analysis includes Unit Root Test and the relationship estimation of Cointegration data of variables using Panel cointegration test. The result of this study on the basic factors of financial inclusion shows that an increase in financial inclusion level has a greater impact on economic growth in developing countries than in developed countries. This is because the financial access gap in developing countries is still high. Moreover, it has been found that the factors in financial inclusion and economic growth has a Cointegration relationship. Such a result indicates that the greater the increase in financial inclusion, the more the economy grows.
