This study aims to analyze export supply and significant factors affecting export supply for Thai aquatic products as well as to explain the export competitiveness of the products by comparing the trade potential of other key business competitors. There are 3 Thai aquatic products were used in this study which are fish products, crustaceans products and cephalopods products. Ordinary least square method was employed to estimate export supply model and RCA, RSCA and TBI are used to analyze the trade potential.
The result of export supply and significant factors affecting export supply for Thai aquatic products show that there were price, income of trade partners, producer price index trade partners, and exchange rate influencing the export supply for Thai aquatic products with a level of significance at 0.05 except the total value of the shrimp product exports from Thailand to Hong Kong.
Regarding to Thailand competitiveness of the aquatic products, it is important to note that Thailand has the trend of decline in export of three main fisheries products.
