บทคัดย่อ (THAI):

การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาพฤติกรรมและปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการลงทุนทางการเกษตรของเกษตรกรในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยการลงพื้นที่เก็บแบบสอบถามจากเกษตรกรในพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 410 ราย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเกษตรกร เพศชาย อายุมากกว่า 55 ปีขึ้นไป การศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ส่วนมากมีสถานภาพสมรสแล้ว มีจำนวนสมาชิกในครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 3.81 ราย อาชีพเสริมส่วนมากรับจ้างทั้งในและนอกภาคการเกษตร การถือครองที่ดินส่วนใหญ่เป็นพื้นที่ทางการเกษตรของตนเอง มีประสบการณ์ในการทำการเกษตรส่วนใหญ่ 1- 10 ปี ส่วนใหญ่มีรายได้ไม่เกิน 50,000 บาท โดยเฉลี่ยแล้วเท่ากับ 224,130 บาทต่อปี มีรายได้เสริมเฉลี่ย 36,261 บาทต่อปี ส่วนใหญ่เกษตรกรกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีหนี้สินแต่ยังสามารถชำระหนี้สินได้ตามกำหนด พฤติกรรมในการลงทุนทางการเกษตรของเกษตรกรกลุ่มตัวอย่างพบว่า ส่วนใหญ่เลือกลงทุนในการทำนา ทำสวนและทำไร่ พร้อมกัน ส่วนใหญ่มีพื้นที่ทางการเกษตรขนาดเล็ก มีมูลค่าการลงทุนของเครื่องจักรกลทางการเกษตรขนาดเล็ก (มีมูลค่าไม่เกิน 25,000 บาท) มีการใช้แรงงานทั้งในและนอกครัวเรือน เมื่อพิจารณาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการลงทุนทางการเกษตรของเกษตรกรพบว่า ปัจจัยที่ผลมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ด้านพื้นที่ รองลงมา ด้านครอบครัว และด้านอุปนิสัย ตามลำดับ โดยด้านพื้นที่ในรายละเอียดของปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการลงทุน คือ มีพื้นที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ ด้านครอบครัวในรายละเอียดปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการลงทุนมากที่สุด คือ ครอบครัวมีความรู้ ประสบการณ์ในการทำการเกษตรมาก่อน ด้านอุปนิสัยในรายละเอียดปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการลงทุนมากที่สุด คือ มีความชอบในการทำการเกษตร

Abstract:

The objectives of this study was to study the behavior and factors affecting farmer’s investment on Agriculture in Chiang Mai Province. A questionnaire was been used in collecting data from 410 farmers in Chiang Mai province. The result shows that; most of the respondents were male farmers over 55 years of age with an elementary educational level. Most of them are married and an average of 3.81 people are in their household. Most of them engage on extra jobs from both agricultural and non-agricultural sector. In terms of land holding and ownership, most of them owns their agricultural land; they possess an experience of 1-10 years in agriculture. Their earnings are no more than 50,000 baht, an average of 224,130 baht per year. They have an average extra income of 36,261 baht per year. Majority of the respondents have some debts to pay up, but they were able to pay all their debts according to the specified time. Farmer’s investment behavior in agricultural found that, mostly invest in farming, gardening and field crop at the same time, most of the farmer have a small field, they also investing in small agricultural machinery. (Valued at not more than 25,000 Baht). Farmer use both their household labor and hired labor. While considering factors affecting farmer’s investment on agriculture, it was been found that, the most influential factors are; area factor followed by family factor and behavioral factor respectively. In terms of area factor, it influence farmer’s investment because they have a fertile soil. Family factor influence farmer’s investment because the families know explicitly well about agriculture and are well experienced in terms of agricultural practices. Behavioral factor influence farmer’s investment in agriculture because of their love for agricultural practices.
