The study entitled Analysis of Risk Affecting Store Business in Border Area: A Case Study of Thai Shops in Maesai – Tachileik Cross – Border Area aims to understand the risk among entrepreneurs. Both Probit and Logit regression models were applied for the analysis of the relationship for each variable. The independent variables consist of the attitude of entrepreneurs towards the factors related to environment, politics, economies, social, marketing and competition, implementation for business, and technologies, while the dependent variable is the income of entrepreneurs in Maesai –Tachileik border line. The data employed in this study is the primary data. The questionnaire had been used to collect the data from 400 respondents. Regarding the collected information, it was found that the most entrepreneurs were female; they were in 30 -39 years old of age, and had bachelor’s degree. Most business firms had been in the business for 1-10 years, and earn 10,000 -30,000 baht per month. By using the proposed methodology, the results showed that the risk factors effecting on the business performance consisted of flood, rules or criterions, delay in delivering, fluctuation of exchange rate, political crisis, ability for management of employees, and new technologies.
