This independent study aims to analyze the business potential of the telecommunications company, TT&T Public Company Limited. By studying the overall structure of the telecommunications market. Also, we study the government policy that regulates telecommunications in Thailand. That demonstrate regulatory compliance and corporate governance policies in telecom affect the operation of TT&T Public Company Limited. In analyzing the business potential, we have adopted the business impact of 5 (Five Force Model) and analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT Analysis) attributed to the operations. In terms of turnover, we have adopted the Economic Value Added (Economic Value Added: EVA) was used for the analysis of the financial performance.
The study overall structure of the telecommunications markets. The mobile service providers and the internet marketing services, that rate is growth fast. In the year 2559 forecast, the telecom market will grow and continue to grow in the future. The entry into the 3G and 4G will be powered up in business telecommunications.
The analysis of the potential business impact of 5 (Five Force Model) and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT Analysis), we found that the liberalization of the telecommunications industry has made competition more intense. The bargaining power of customers is increased. The concession system is a major issue of affects business operations.
An analysis of Economic Value Added (Economic Value Added: EVA) of TT&T Public Company Limited. Since the year 2555 to the year 2558 was negative throughout. All a result of intense competition. In the operations under the concession system, the investment in new services cannot be implemented. The capital decreased from the year 2555, that represents revenue decrease and the debt increase.
