บทคัดย่อ (THAI):

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาต้นทุนทางการศึกษาของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 และความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอนของโรงเรียนในอำเภอแม่ริม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยทำการสอบถามกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้ปกครองนักเรียน จำนวน 330 คน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านริมใต้ จำนวน 180 คน โรงเรียนเจ้าแม่หลวงอุปถัมภ์ 2 จำนวน 60 คน และโรงเรียนธีระวัธน์บำเพ็ญ จำนวน 90 คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ส่วนการวัดระดับความพึงพอใจใช้ลิเคิร์ทสเกล ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ระดับ
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านริมใต้ ส่วนใหญ่ เป็นเพศหญิง อายุเฉลี่ย 32 ปี จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ทำงานบริษัทเอกชนและข้าราชการ/พนักงานของรัฐ รายได้เฉลี่ยเดือนละ 10,001-20,000 บาท ต้นทุนทางการศึกษาของนักเรียนตั้งแต่ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 เฉลี่ยคนละ 134,449 บาท ในจำนวนนี้เป็นต้นทุนส่วนบุคคลร้อยละ 83.1 ที่เหลือเป็นเงินที่รัฐบาลอุดหนุนเพื่อการศึกษา ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอนอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีความ พึงพอใจด้านวิชาการอันดับ 1 ซึ่งได้แก่ การสอนที่มุ่งให้นักเรียนคิดเป็นทำเป็น เลือกเรียนตาม ความสนใจ และสื่อการเรียนสอดคล้องกับเนื้อหาและอุปกรณ์การเรียนเพียงพอกับจำนวนนักเรียน
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโรงเรียนเจ้าแม่หลวงอุปถัมภ์ 2 ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อายุเฉลี่ย 31 ปี จบการศึกษาระดับต่ำกว่าปริญญาตรี มีอาชีพเป็นเกษตรกรรายได้เฉลี่ยเดือนละต่ำกว่า 5,000 บาท ต้นทุนทางการศึกษาของนักเรียนตั้งแต่ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 ต่ำกว่านักเรียนอีก 2 แห่ง คือเฉลี่ย คนละ 88,439 บาท ในจำนวนนี้เป็นเงินที่รัฐบาลอุดหนุนถึงร้อยละ 59.7 ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากเป็นโรงเรียนในพื้นที่ที่เป็นภูเขา ผู้ปกครองส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาวไทยภูเขา ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอนอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีความพึงพอใจด้านบริหารงานบุคคล อันดับ 1 ซึ่งได้แก่ ครูมีคุณวุฒิประสบการณ์ด้านการสอนและครูฝึกฝนให้นักเรียนเป็นผู้มีระเบียบวินัยกิริยามารยาทเรียบร้อย
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นผู้ปกครองนักเรียนโรงเรียนธีระวัธน์บำเพ็ญ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อายุเฉลี่ย 33 ปี จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ทำงานบริษัทเอกชนรายได้เฉลี่ยเดือนละ 10,001-20,000 บาท ต้นทุนทางการศึกษาของนักเรียนตั้งแต่ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1-6 สูงกว่านักเรียนอีก 2 แห่ง คือเฉลี่ยคนละ 232,609 บาท เนื่องจากเป็นโรงเรียนเอกชน ในจำนวนนี้เป็นต้นทุนส่วนบุคคลสูงถึง ร้อยละ 90.2 ที่เหลือเป็นเงินที่รัฐบาลอุดหนุนเพื่อการศึกษา ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนการสอนอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีความพึงพอใจด้านบริหารงานบุคคล อันดับ 1 ซึ่งได้แก่ ครูมีคุณวุฒิประสบการณ์ด้านการสอน และครูฝึกฝนให้นักเรียนเป็นผู้มีระเบียบวินัยกิริยามารยาทเรียบร้อย

Abstract:

This study has the objectives to examine the cost of education of schoolchildren from 1st to 6th grade at elementary school level and assess the satisfaction of parents or guardians of these schoolchildren with the educational management in schools in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. Pertinent information was collected from totally 330 samples of schoolchildren’s parents or guardians which comprised specifically 180, 60, and 90 samples of those related to Ban Rim Tai School, Chao Mae Luang Uppatham 2 School, and Theeravat Bampen School, respectively. The analysis was performed upon the results of descriptive statistics and the satisfaction of parents or guardians was assessed by means of 5 point Likert Scales.
The study found in the case of Ban Rim Tai School that the majority of schoolchildren’s parents or guardians were typically female, averagely 32 years old, with bachelor’s degree education, employed in private business company or in government agency, and having monthly income in the range of 10,001- 20,000 baht. The total cost of education for elementary schooling from 1st to 6th grade was calculated at 134,449 baht per schoolchild on the average and 83.1% of which was private cost and the rest was covered by government budget for educational supports. The satisfaction of schoolchildren’s parents or guardians with educational management in this school was rated as high. The most satisfactory aspect was found to be the educational matter for the reasons that the teaching is conducted with the aim to enable schoolchildren to learn how to think and practice themselves, that the schoolchildren are allowed to choose the subjects to learn according to their interest, that the educational tools and media are arranged appropriately with the course contents, and that the educational equipment is provided adequately considering the number of schoolchildren.
In the case of Chao Mae Luang Uppatham 2 School, most parents or guardians of the schoolchildren could be described as being female, 31 years old on the average, having education lower than bachelor’s degree level, being farmer by occupation, and earning less than 5,000 baht monthly income. The total cost of education for 1st-6th grade schooling for each schoolchild was averagely 88,439 baht which is lower than the cases of the other two schools and furthermore 59.7 % of the total cost was financed by government budget because this school is located in the mountainous area. Most of the schoolchildren’s parents or guardians are hill-tribe population and they expressed their high satisfaction with the educational management in this school especially for the personnel management aspect and primarily for the reason that the school teachers are well equipped with educational background and experience and they are capable of training the schoolchildren to have good discipline and fine social manners.
With respect to Theeravat Bampen School, the majority of schoolchildren’s parents or guardians could be characterized as female, 33 years old on the average, with bachelor’s degree education, working in private business company, and having averagely 10,001-20,000 baht monthly income. The total cost of education for six years’ schooling from 1st to 6th grade was calculated at 232,609 baht for each schoolchild which is higher than the cases of the other two schools. This is because this school is a private one and consequently 90.2% of the total cost of education is financed personally by parents or guardians of the schoolchildren while the remaining cost is covered by government budget for educational supports. The parents or guardians of schoolchildren in this school rated their high satisfaction with the educational management in terms of personnel management with the highest satisfaction with the attribute that this school has teachers who are well equipped with educational background and experience as well as have the capability to train schoolchildren to become persons that have good discipline and fine social manners.
