The
Faculty of Economics was established on September 28, 1993.
Previously, it was a department in the faculty of Social Sciences.
The faculty has a long history of research and associated academic
activities, extending over a period of 39 years. The Bachelors
Degree in Economics has been continuously offered since June
1964. From 1964 to the present there are more than 3,400 undergraduate
and 400 graduate students who completed their study program
in Economics.
The program
aims to create graduates with knowledge and understanding of
broad social and economic conditions. Moreover, our graduates
are able to perform work and undertake self-development that
enables them to advance with the rapid changes in technology
and the dynamic economic activities in various regions of the
international workplace.
