Bachelors
Degree
Applicants
must have completed a secondary school (or equivalent) course
from an accredited institution. Potentially qualified applicants
are required to pass the National Entrance Examination, a Northern
Quota Entrance Examination and thus meet the entrance requirements
for high scoring students.
Students are required to complete 144 credits within 4 years
of full time study. The requirements for the Bachelor of Economics
degree must be completed in not more than eight academic years
from the date of the students initial registration to study
in the program.
Master Degree
Applicants
must have completed undergraduate (or equivalent) courses from
an accredited institution. Potentially qualified applicants
are required to pass Chiang Mai University (acted by the Graduate
School) Entrance Examination (For special Program or Plan II,
applicants work experience will be the most beneficial for
them).
Regular program or plan I
Students are required to complete 42 credits within 2 years
of full time study.
Special Program or plan II
Students are required to complete 42 credits within 2 years
of full time study during weekends.
One Year Twilight Program
The new program was found in 2002. Students are required to
complete 42 credits within 1 year of part time study during
weekdays.
The requirements
for the Master of Economics degree must be completed in not
more than five academic years from the date of the students
registration to study in the program.
